How often does fire extinguisher have to be checked? - fire extinguisher installation
I have a fire extinguisher in my house, and bears a label indicating it was made in 2000 into account. The needle always points to the part that says "Complete". This is probably still good? Is there a rule to see a professional or something, if the conditions are considered safe and should work? Thanks for the advice can you give me at this point.

Fire extinguishers should be reviewed annually. Call your local fire department and told where to take it.
Certainly not during a fire.
In a "business" that must be reviewed annually. That the needle points to the full, I think he's right.
NOTE: I went into the kitchen and looked at my fire extinguisher. That she has seen the flag of each month to make sure it reads well.
Fire extinguishers must be inspected at least once a year. If your expired in 2008, have it inspected by a professional. Better safe than sorry!
