How Many Words Should A Chapter Have How Many Pages/words Should Be In My Book's Chapter(s):?

How many pages/words should be in my book's chapter(s):? - how many words should a chapter have

I write in Microsoft Word 2007 and in the size of the font Calibri 11th I wonder what would be a long chapter on the average of the pages or words. Preferably pages, but I heard the words, if you have an idea. Thnx!

There are no rules. They have short chapters (one page) or chapters long (multiple pages) or a combination of sizes!

Think about it. They wrote half the book and the chapters are 2 pages. He now writes a scene and will go to 2 pages - so what? Each chapter should be as long as necessary. Thus, while it shows the scene.

That is to decide for yourself. I can not say how long it should be their chapters, but I can tell you that there are about 250 words on a page and read the section on pages 3 to 15 .. and you need to 12pt font, preferably using Times New Roman or Ariel, but there is no difference

It really depends on you. I read the chapter a few words on a page, then starts the next chapter.
I would say you need about 5-15 pages per chapter ... unless you want to make a point, the end of the first chapter.

I usually 14-20, or if I need a good cliffhanger (if you know what I mean) at the end of the chapter.
